holidays!!!! actually, i'm not really very excited about holidays. this holiday is gonna be boring... just excited about sleeping late and waking up late:D:D:D
singapore's life is really too fast-paced and hectic. bro brought up this subject ytd. and i totally agree with it. so fast-paced that you just have to focus on catching up with others. and when you digress from focusing on catching up, you'll start emoing. cos you'll be thinking of "why am i doing this for??? what kind of life am i leading???" instead of "i need to catch up with so and so" and stuff like that.
studies shown that people nowadays are prone to self multilation, suicide, depression and breaking down, etc. because of this hectic, fast paced world. compared to rural life, our life span is really short. what the hell is going on. people are really turning crazy. so crazy that they pursue things not within their reach and drive themselves insane.
i mean, is good to have a ambition and things like that. but dont yearn for them so much that you cause yourself much stress and misery. this is not a life. life is not about mugging everyday and don't hang out with friends. life is not about working everyday just to earn money but dont spend them. life is not about criticising others and be so self centered. i will say this is not a life. seriously.
time flies. so the more we should treasure them. is like end of august now?! like freaking fast. soon it'll be november, den 2009, den i'll be sec 3. follow by o levels, den blah blah blah... it goes on. is kind of stupid to know that people waste their time on pursueing things that they will never get it. why not, instead, use your time on treasuring the things around you now. is definetly a smarter choice. okay, whatever. i am turning into some confucionism. er... is that the correct spelling?
