Although singapore is well - known as a garden city, but singapore is also pretty well - known for our inconsiderate actions and lousy attitude. what is singa the lion for? it is to promote politness and be considerate to others. but apparently, this fat man did not ever in his whole damn life attend CME lesson or civic moral lesson AT ALL.
here is what happen... on the bus, rong en, yan lin, and i were going to the back seat, and we realised that not enough seat for the three of us. so i saw the man beside, he was sitting one seat, while putting his bag on another seat. so upon seeing me standing right in front of him, he didn't remove his bag. which is pretty inconsiderate. so i said "excuse me" super politely. and guess what was his reply. btw, i think he stammer. cos he was sort of stammering. he said "CAN'T YOU JUST GO TO SEAT ANYWHERE ELSE? WELL MUST YOU SEAT HERE?" in an extremely, freaking rude way. obviously i gave him the "what the hell" expression. then he closed his eyes. ignoring me.
i am not really pissed. (surprisingly) just that i am extremely extremely shocked. SHOCKED. shocked about singaporean's rude behaviour. so rude and inconsiderate to the extrem. if advancement and improvements are leading to human behaviour being so self-centered, i would say we are a bunch of failures. we failed in self-disipline. and i would say that not only him, but alot of other people are also like that. in class, some people just roll their damn eyes at you without any reason. on public transport, people no longer give up seats for the elderly. for for heaven sake, some boys from xxxx boy school still fight for that little seat with the elderly. at least, i would give up my seats for elderly. at least, i will never ever take up the whole seat with my bag (like some fat guy). at least, i will move in till the end of the bus when i know that there are more passengers boarding the bus. JUST WHAT IS WRONG WITH THOSE INCONSIDERATE SINGAPOREANS?!
if this happened in term 3, i can tell you i won't be so chill and walked away. i would start swearing and cursing that damn guy. i mean his tone was really rude. like i killed his parents and he is after me for revenge. but surprisingly, i am not even angry with him. just shocked and embarassed that he is so inconsiderate and is actually a singaporean. i guessed songs help to soothe your nerves. have been listening to songs every single day recently. and i think it really helps. and alot. did not use the F word for at least a month. so well, it probably helps.
school was as usual. laughter, sarcasm, jokes, gossips, slacking. nothing new. and our clique is bad at pronounciation. except for tjong and qiao er, everyone have at least one pronounciation error. slacked through music. engaged myself in gossips and games with lorraine. :D:D:D we are the only pair with "peace and harmony" now. hahas. keep this up lorraine!!! :D:D:D
my chinese sux now. sux like no tomorrow. so far, i've scored A1 for every single subject. EXCEPT CHINESE. i scored A2. miss by a little. dad was super shocked when i "broke the news" to him. he was like "ARE YOU SURE?" when i asked him to guess my english marks, he said i got "C5!" "no wrong" "har, don't tell me C6 hor?" "i got A1 lar!"
even my dad knew that my english will never get so high. i am turning into some english freak. if there is ever such a freak. and mom refused to believe me when i told her. she say i am lying. -.-
i don't blame them for such reactions either. i don't even believe it myself.
Home econs practical tomorrow. hope mine is edible. :p
